Airport Information

Beginning September 17, Southwest Airlines operations will relocate to the North Terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). We previously operated out of the L.C. Smith Terminal.

  • Gate Information: Southwest Airlines uses gates D20, D21, and D23 in the North Terminal
  • Ticketing: You can purchase tickets at the ticket counter located on the upper level of the North Terminal
  • E-Ticket Check-In Kiosks: Located at the ticket counter
  • Baggage Claim: Baggage claim is on the lower level beneath the ticketing lobby
