Oakland International Airport (OAK)
- Gate Information: Southwest Airlines uses gates 20-22 and 29-32 in terminal two and gates 10, 12, 14, and 17 in terminal one.
- Ticketing: You can purchase tickets at the ticket counter and the "No Baggage Check-In Desk" located on the ground level of terminal two.
- Express Bag Drop: Beginning May 6, we are evaluating a new checked baggage process at the Oakland International Airport(OAK). T o use the Express Bag Drop, you will first need to checkin and obtain your boarding pass online at southwest.com. When you arrive at the airport, go directly to the Express Bag Drop kiosks, scan your printed boarding pass with the kiosk's affixed scanner, and verify the number of bags you plan to check. It's as easy as that!
- E-Ticket Check-In kiosks: In Terminal 1, Kiosks are located by the information desk and by gate 10. In Terminal 2, Kiosks are located across from the ticket counter and by the "No Baggage Check-In Desk".
- Baggage Claim: The baggage claim is on the lower level of terminal two.

Driving Directions to Oakland International Airport:
- From downtown Oakland take I-880 south and exit at Hegenberger.
- From San Francisco take the Bay Bridge I-80 East to Oakland. Follow the signs for I-880 South Alameda/San Jose. Continue on I-880 South to Hegenberger Road West/Oakland Airport exit.
Ground Transportation:
Free shuttle service is available between the parking lots and the passenger terminals every 10 minutes.

BART Connections to the Oakland Airport: An Air-BART shuttle bus leaves the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station every 7 to 10 minutes. Tickets must be purchased from machines located in the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station or in any Oakland Airport terminal before boarding the bus. Travel time is approximately 15 minutes, and can range to 30 minutes during peak weekday rush hours. For more information call (510) 577-4294.
- AC Transit Route 58 leaves the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station every 10 to 12 minutes during rush hour, every 20 minutes midday, Saturday, Sunday and nightly from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Park with Expresso Parking and reserve the Sherpa Service which includes a ride to the Oakland airport, dropped off curbside at the airport, and have your bags carried to the airline counter. Upon return, you will be greeted by the Sherpa driver and have your bags carried to the Sherpa vehicle and delivered back to your freshly cleaned vehicle.
