Starting May 13, 2009, the ticket counter location will relocate from the main level to the departure curb level. Those passengers who park in the garage and wish to check baggage will have to go down the escalators adjacent to the TSA checkpoint to access the new ticket counter location.
San Jose International Airport (SJC)
- Gate Information: Southwest Airlines uses gates 2 through 4 and
7 through 10 which are located on the main level in terminal A.
- Ticketing: You can purchase tickets at the ticket counter located on the main level.
- E-Ticket Check-In kiosks: Located at the skycap entrance and ticket counter.
- Baggage Claim: The baggage claim is located across the skybridge on the lower level of terminal A.
- Wi-Fi: Available throughout airport

Driving Directions to San Jose International Airport:
- From I-880, the airport is located off the Coleman Street or Brokaw Road exits.
- From Highway 101, the airport is located off the Guadelupe Parkway/Route 87 exit.
Parking Rates:
Free Airport shuttle bus service is provided between the Airport terminals and the long term parking lots. Shuttles operate approximately every five to ten minutes. For more parking information, please call (408) 277-4759.
Due to Airport improvement construction, a shortage of parking is expected on the following days:
- Short Term:
$1 per 20 minutes; $30 maximum per 24 hour period.
- Express Parking:
1 hour express parking in Terminal A garage and in Terminal C Red Lot.
- Long Term (Orange Lot):
$1 per 20 minutes; $15 per 24 hour period.
Other options when traveling to the Airport include:
- Rails to Wings (free VTA/SJC Airport Flyer bus - VTA Route #10) - Operates to and from the Airport between the Metro/Airport Light Rail Station and the Santa Clara Caltrain Station. The Airport Flyer runs daily from 5:30 a.m. to midnight (every 10 minutes Monday-Friday; every 15 minutes on weekends).
- Park, Shuttle & Fly (408) 295-5300 - A 24-hour private parking facility located on 735 Newhall Ave. between Highway 880 and Airport Blvd. Free shuttle buses to and from the Airport are scheduled to operate every 10 minutes.
- De La Cruz Parking Lot (408) 988-3403 - Located between Central Expressway and Martin Ave.
