Car Step 1: Plan Trip
This help screen is for car reservations only. If you already entered this information when you booked your air reservation, please skip this screen and go to Car Step 2: Select Car to continue. If you do not need an air reservation, please follow the steps below to book your car.
| Where are you renting your car? |
- Select the Renting Location (Pick Up) and Return Location (Drop Off) for your rental car from the scroll boxes. If the city or airport where you want to pick up and drop off your rental does not appear in the scroll boxes, type it in the or Other Airport Location text boxes.
| When are you renting your car? |
- Select Renting Date & Time (Pick Up) and Return Date & Time (Drop Off) for your rental car from the scroll boxes.

- Select Car Company and Vehicle Type from the scroll boxes.
- To see cars and prices for our Preferred Partners, select Shop All Rapid Rewards Partners.
- To see cars and prices for all rental car companies offered on southwest.com, select Shop All Cars.
- Enter any applicable Car Company Codes/Numbers. Be sure to select the correct car company using the drop-down menus.
- For a detailed description of each vehicle type, click the vehicle types link (below the Vehicle Type scroll box).
