Air Step 4: Purchase

In this step you'll learn how to specify your payment and passenger information. This step also explains how to purchase your itinerary and get a receipt.

• Enter the First Name, Last Name, Suffix (optional), and Rapid Rewards Member Number (optional) for each Passenger. Do not use punctuation such as commas, apostrophes, hyphens, or periods.
• Suffix and Rapid Rewards Member Number are optional.
• If entering a Rapid Rewards membership number for a Passenger, the name you enter must match the name on the Passenger’s Rapid Rewards account.

• If you have a Southwest LUV Voucher, southwestgiftcard™ or Ticketless Travel Funds from an unused or cancelled reservation, click on the "Apply Travel Funds " button to apply them toward the purchase of your new reservation.

• Enter the credit card holder’s information. This information must match the credit card billing information.
• Ticketless Travel may be purchased on southwest.com using one of the following credit cards: American Express, Optima, MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, Discover Card/NOVUS, Access, and UATP Card, or by applying unused Ticketless Travel Funds from a previous reservation.
• If you wish to use another form of payment (e.g., Southwest Airlines travel voucher, gift certificate, discount coupon), please contact Southwest Reservations at 1-800-IFLYSWA® (1-800-435-9792) for information on how to use those payment options.

• Enter a phone number where we can contact you.

• Choose how to receive your Southwest Airlines Ticketless Travel receipt by selecting e-mail or fax.
• Receipts contain confidential billing information.

• Enter up to four e-mail addresses to which you want to send a copy of your travel itinerary.
• Travel itineraries do not contain confidential billing information.

• Review the total charges.

• Click on the “I Want to Purchase This Air Travel” button to complete your transaction and go to Air Step 5: Booked.
