Apply Travel Funds

Step-by-Step Instructions

This feature allows you to apply Electronic Travel Funds (Ticketless Travel Funds, southwestgiftcards^®, or Southwest LUV Vouchers) toward the purchase of a new reservation. You can access this feature from the Purchase Screen in the reservation process (when you are asked to enter your name and payment information).

To Apply Travel Funds to your new reservation, complete the following steps:

1. Begin a new reservation and select your flights.
2. Continue through the reservation process until you reach the Purchase Screen (where you are asked to enter your name and payment information).
3. From the Purchase Screen, click on the "Apply Travel Funds" button located in the "Apply Travel Funds" section.

4. Applying Funds:

• For Ticketless Travel Funds, enter the confirmation number and passenger's first and last name and click on the "Apply Ticketless Travel Funds" button. This step can be repeated for up to two confirmation numbers.
• For southwestgiftcards, enter the Card Number and Security Code and click on the "Apply southwestgiftcard" button. This step can be repeated for up to four southwestgiftcards.
• For Southwest LUV Vouchers, enter the Voucher Number and Security Code and click on the "Apply Southwest LUV Voucher" button. This step can be repeated for up to four Southwest LUV Vouchers.

5. Review your Electronic Travel Funds and complete the reservation process. You may be required to pay the balance of your amount due with a credit card or other electronic travel funds. In the example below, $0.00 is due after all Travel Funds have been applied.

• All unused tickets and unused Ticketless Travel Funds will be applied first, prior to other methods of payment.
• If you have funds from an unused or cancelled reservation, southwestgiftcards®, or Southwest LUV Vouchers you may apply them toward the purchase of this reservation.
• Funds must be entered one at a time and may be applied to this reservation in the following way. Up to two unused Ticketless Travel tickets per passenger (always applied first) and up to four of the following in any combination: southwestgiftcards, Southwest LUV Vouchers, Ticketless Travel Funds (left over funds not previously used) and one credit card.
• Nonrefundable funds applied toward the purchase of a new reservation remain nonrefundable.
