Our People represent countries and cultures from all over the world, and a living example of that can be found in AirTran Airways First Officer Alex Romero, who emigrated from the Philippines when he was just two years old. The Romero family settled in New York City, where Alex became fascinated with aviation. He watched his older brother build model planes, and he always thought it would be great to be at the controls of a real working airplane.
