Please keep in mind that the Volaris ticket change policy is different from that of Southwest Airlines and varies by the type of fare that you purchase. Volaris tickets may be changed without a fee if bought from the "Want it All" fare product or with a fee if bought from the "Want to Travel" or "Want to Save" fare products.

Volaris provides an Advanced Seat Assignment option (for purchase) and assigned seats at checkin.
Volaris operates a modern fleet of Airbus 319 and A320 aircraft featuring leather seats, ample legroom and inflight entertainment (shared overhead screens). The average age of its aircraft is less than 4 years.
Volaris provides complimentary snacks, soft drinks, juices, and alcoholic drinks with assistance from partners like Coca-Cola, Krispy Kreme, Canel's, Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma, Sanborn's, and Casa Cuervo to ensure passengers are served high quality products at no additional cost.

Checking in oversize items, please arrive at the airport no later than 90 minutes prior to your flight in order to allow enough time for your oversize item to be screened before proceeding through security.

Must fit in our Carry-on bag meter located at airport counters. Aside from your carry-on bag, you may also take a regular backpack, portfolio, laptop case or purse. Any carry-on baggage exceeding these measurements will have to be documented.

At some airports, Volaris provides shuttle bus service between the airport and strategic connecting points. For example, there is a bus service between Toluca and the Volaris virtual terminal in Santa Fe (Mexico City) and between the Tijuana airport and San Diego, California among others.
