Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI)
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) is one of the leading Hispanic non-profit and non-partisan 501(c)(3) organizations in the country. CHCI was established in 1978 by Congressman Edward Roybal, Congressman E. "Kika" de la Garza and Congressman Baltasar Corrada to help increase opportunities for Hispanics to participate in and contribute to the American policy making process. Since then, CHCI's mission has been to develop the next generation of Hispanic leaders. The vision is an educated and civically active Hispanic community participating at the local, state, and federal policy decision-making levels. Southwest has been supporting CHCI for several years and is the Official Airline of the CHCI Public Policy Fellows. Our Employees also serve on the Board of Directors. Learn More
