- After clicking on “Reservations” from the home page on southwest.com,
simply choose the Rapid Rewards Companion Pass booking option. Once you
have selected your flights, you will enter your account number and online
password to complete the booking process.
- You may also make a Companion Pass reservation by contacting us at
1-800-248-4377. Simply let the Southwest Customer Representative know
that a Companion will be traveling with you on a Companion Pass.
- Please write down the confirmation number that is given to you once
the reservation is complete.
- If you are not checking luggage, and you want to receive your boarding
pass at the Departure Gate, you can visit the Travel Center at southwest.com
starting at 6 a.m. (local departure time) the day before your flight
to print a Security Document for each traveler. Presenting this document
when you pass through the Security Checkpoint will allow you to proceed
to the Departure Gate area.
- The Member and Companion must check in together and present the Companion
Pass card.
Just Remember:
- The Companion Pass is not subject to capacity controls and is valid
whether you’re traveling on a Southwest Airlines fare paid ticket
or an Award! Be sure to make a reservation, and pay the government-imposed
September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 per roundtrip. Don’t
forget to bring your Companion Pass to present upon checkin.
- The Companion Pass can only be used on Southwest Airlines-operated
service.
- You can change your Companion Pass up to three (3) times during the 12-month validity period. Requests must be made in writing and accompanied by the current Companion Pass card, which will be cancelled, to: Southwest Airlines, Rapid Rewards, P.O. Box 36657, Dallas, TX 75235. Please include your new Companion’s name, address, phone number, social security number, and date of birth. Allow 21 days for processing.
