Terms and conditions

Member must fly reward travel between 8:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on January 1, 2025 and 11:59 p.m. CT on December 31, 2025 (the "Promotion Period") to receive tier qualifying flight segment credit for reward travel. Valid on new qualifying reward flight segments flown within the Promotion Period. Member's Rapid Rewards^® account number must be entered at the time of booking Member's qualifying reward flight to receive flight segment credit for any new reward travel. Only the Member who is flying will receive credit for the travel completed, regardless of who booked the reservation or whose points were redeemed for the ticket. The flight segments are awarded after the ticket is flown. A qualifying reward flight segment is defined as a one-way trip booked through Southwest^® purchased with points from Denver (DEN) to a destination city or from an origin city to Denver (DEN), including any intermediate stops and/or connections on Southwest.

The flight segment credit will be posted on the My Account page of the traveling Rapid Rewards Member within 10 days after flight completion. Customer must be a Rapid Rewards Member in order for Southwest to allocate their flight segment credits. Please reference your Rapid Rewards account on Southwest.com^® for available points, tier qualifying points or flight segments, and Companion Pass qualifying points or flights. Current balance may not reflect any points, tier qualifying points, flight segments, and Companion Pass qualifying points or flights that have not yet posted to your account from spend, flights or other promotions.

A-List and A-List Preferred qualification is based on a calendar year. Once A-List or A-List Preferred status is earned, the Member can begin enjoying the benefits immediately. The Member will maintain A-List or A-List Preferred status for the remainder of the calendar year in which the status was earned and for the entire calendar year immediately following. To continue receiving A-List or A-List Preferred tier benefits, the Member must requalify each calendar year. The Member can only maintain one Rapid Rewards tier status during a calendar year, regardless of how many tier qualifying flights are taken or tier qualifying points are earned.

All reward travel is subject to taxes, fees, and other government or airport-imposed charges of at least $5.60 per one-way trip. Applicable taxes, fees, and other government or airport-imposed charges can vary significantly based on your arrival and departure destination. The payment of any taxes, fees, and other government or airport-imposed charges is the responsibility of the Passenger and must be paid with a credit card, flight credit, or Southwest gift card at the time reward travel is booked.

Offer is not redeemable for cash and may not be used in conjunction with a previously booked flight, or changes to a previously booked flight. Tier qualifying flight segment credit is not valid on charter flights, Groups travel, Companion Pass^®, Cash + Points bookings, Southwest Vacations^® packages, or Getaways by Southwest™ vacation bookings. Special fares, such as infant, child, military, and government fares do not qualify for promotion. Valid on Southwest Airlines^® published, scheduled service.

All Rapid Rewards rules and regulations apply and can be found at Southwest.com/rrterms. Southwest reserves the right to amend, suspend, or change the Rapid Rewards program and/or Rapid Rewards program rules at any time without notice. Rapid Rewards Members do not acquire property rights in accrued points. The number of Rapid Rewards points needed for a particular Southwest flight is set by Southwest and will vary depending on destination, time, day of travel, demand, fare type, point redemption rate, and other factors, and is subject to change at any time until the booking is confirmed.
