Airport Information

Prepare to arrive early due to longer lines and waiting times at security. See what time you should arrive below.

Confirm from the list below when you need to arrive at the airport and learn more about the products and services available there. All suggested airport arrival times are approximate, and can fluctuate based on weather, holidays, and busy travel periods.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires the following documentation at the security checkpoint of all airports:

  • Boarding pass or security document
  • A valid government-issued ID or valid passport (required for international travel)

For international travel:

  • In order for you to be accommodated on your international flight (when departing the US and when departing from an international destination), you must verify your passport with an agent or kiosk at the Southwest Airlines Ticket Counter at least 60 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
  • Entry into the United States: The U.S. government is requiring anyone traveling into the United States to provide COVID-19-related documentation and contact tracing information. Learn more about travel requirements here.
  • Review all international travel document requirements

Service animal relief areas are available at each of the locations we serve. Southwest Airlines Employees will direct a Customer to these areas upon request.
