As an A-List Preferred Member you have the ability to surf the Net or send an e-mail at no charge (when available). You can identify a WiFi Hotspot enabled Southwest Airlines plane by looking for the WiFi Hotspot sign located in the forward galley as you board your flight, and throughout the cabin. Once onboard, you can connect for free as soon as the Flight Attendant says it is safe to turn on approved electronic devices. Connecting is easy and can be completed in a few easy steps:
Once the Flight Attendant has announced it is safe to use approved portable electronics, turn on your WiFi-enabled device and set to airplane mode (if applicable).
View available wireless networks, select “Southwest WiFi,” and connect.
Launch your Internet browser for immediate access to the Southwest Airlines Hotspot portal and all it has to offer.
Click on the A-List Preferred text link below the “Get Connected” button (there is also an A-List Preferred Member link on the initial payment page).
Enter your Rapid Rewards username or account number and password in the A-List Preferred popup window then click “Get Connected.”
