Corporate Status Match Details

Your company’s partnership with Southwest Airlines may make you eligible for promotional Rapid Rewards® A-List status for 120 days. Between now and December 31, 2023, follow the steps below to find out if you qualify for this promotion. If you qualify for promotional A-List status, to extend this promotional A-List status for an additional 12 months, between your enrollment date for this promotion (as determined by Southwest) and the end of your 120 day promotional period you must either (1) book and complete two round trip qualifying flights or four one-way qualifying flights, or (2) earn 5,333 Tier qualifying points from your qualifying flights booked and flown between your enrollment date for this promotion and end of your 120 day promotional period. To find out if you qualify for this promotion, follow these simple steps:

  2. Fill out the form below and click the “Submit” button
    • Provide the information required in the form, including proof of your other current U.S. based airline elite card or statement, and click the “Submit” button to accept the Corporate Status Match Terms and Conditions and find out if you qualify for this promotion.

If you qualify for promotional A-List status, to extend this promotional A-List status for an additional 12 months, between your enrollment date for this promotion (as determined by Southwest) and the end of your 120 day promotional period you must either (1) book and complete two round trip qualifying flights or four one-way qualifying flights, or (2) earn 5,333 Tier qualifying points from your qualifying flights booked and flown between your enrollment date for this promotion and end of your 120 day promotional period.

Corporate Status Match Terms and Conditions

 

In order to qualify for this Corporate Status Match promotion, (a) Member must be an elite status member on another domestic airline; (b) Member must complete the steps noted above, including, without limitation, providing the information required in the form, submitting proof of his or her other current airline elite card or statement, and clicking the “Submit” button, (c) Member must not currently have A-List or A-List Preferred status on Southwest Airlines, (d) Member’s current employer must have a current and effective corporate travel agreement executed with Southwest Airlines that provides for status match and the status match provision in such agreement must be valid at the time of Member’s request for this Corporate Status Match promotional A-List Status, and (e) Member must not have received Corporate Status Match promotional A-List Status within the last 12 months. Please note: Enrollment in this Corporate Status Match promotion more than once during a twelve-month period is not allowed. Qualification and Corporate Status Match promotional A-List status confirmation must be completed prior to booking of travel to receive A-List benefits. Please allow up to 10 days to process the Corporate Status Match promotional A-List status. You will receive an email notification when you’ve qualified for this Corporate Status Match promotion. Offer is nontransferable. Current A-List members whose status is expiring are not eligible for the Corporate Status Match promotion. If you qualify for Corporate Status Match promotional A-List status, during the Corporate Status Match promotional period, you will not receive an A-List card, but you will receive all A-List status benefits on all flights booked after qualifying for this Corporate Status Match promotion, when you provide your Rapid Rewards account number when making your reservation.

To extend promotional A-List status for 12 months, after qualifying for this A-List Corporate Status Match promotion, between Member’s enrollment date for this Corporate Status Match promotion and the end of Member’s 120 day promotional period Member must either (1) book and complete two qualifying round trip flights (or four one-way qualifying flights) or (2) earn 5,333 tier qualifying points from your qualifying flights booked and flown between Member’s enrollment date for this Corporate Status Match promotion and the end of Member’s 120 day promotional period. Valid on new reservations booked between Member’s enrollment date for this Corporate Status Match promotion and the end of Member’s 120 day promotional period. A qualifying one-way flight for A-List status is a one-way revenue flight on Southwest Airlines® from an origin city to a destination city, including any intermediate stops and/or connections on Southwest Airlines. A qualifying round trip flight for A-List status is a revenue flight on Southwest Airlines from an origin city to a destination city and back to the originating airport or carrier-recognized co-terminal. Purchased points will not qualify for this A-List Corporate Status Match promotion. Tier qualifying points are earned through the purchase of revenue flights or through the use of the Rapid Rewards Premier and Priority Consumer Credit Cards and the Rapid Rewards Premier and Performance Business Credit Cards. Companion Pass, charter flights, Southwest Vacations® packages, and reward and group travel do not qualify as one-way or round trip revenue flights for extension of promotional A-List status. Changes made to an itinerary after purchase of a one-way or round trip revenue flight may eliminate qualification for extension of promotional A-List status. Upon qualifying to extend promotional A-List status for 12 months, you will not receive an A-List card, but you will receive all A-List status benefits on all flights booked after qualifying to extend promotional A-List status under this Corporate Status Match promotion, when you provide your Rapid Rewards account number when making your reservation. If A-List status is earned by flying 25 qualifying one-way flights or earning 35,000 tier qualifying points in the calendar year while qualified for promotional A-List status, the regular A-List status will supersede the promotional A-List status, entitling the Member to A-List status through December 31, 2024. ^Boarding positions will be automatically reserved for you and the Passengers on your reservation 36 hours prior to the flight. You and Passengers on your reservation will still need to check in within 24 hours of scheduled departure to retrieve your boarding passes. Some restrictions apply. These restrictions include, but are not limited to, your reservation must be booked 36 hours prior to scheduled departure, and on Group Travel itineraries, priority boarding will only apply to A-List and A-List Preferred Members.

**On your day of travel, if there’s an open seat on a different flight that departs on the same calendar day as your original flight and it’s between the same cities, you can get a seat on the new flight free of airline charges. If there isn’t an open seat on this different flight, you can ask a Southwest Gate Agent to add you to the same-day standby list for a flight between the same city pairs that departs on the same calendar day prior to your originally scheduled flight, and you will receive a message if you are cleared on the flight. For both the same-day change and same-day standby benefits, you must change your flight or request to be added to the same-day standby list at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of your original flight or the no-show policy will apply. Based on the flight status contact preference selected during booking, the message regarding your standby status will be an email or text message with a link to access the boarding pass via the Southwest app, mobile web, or you can visit a Southwest Gate Agent to print off the boarding pass. If there are any government taxes and fees associated with these itinerary changes, you will be required to pay those. Your original boarding position is not guaranteed. If an A-List or A-List Preferred Member is traveling on a multiple-Passenger reservation, same-day standby and same-day change will not be provided for non-A-List or non-A-List Preferred Members in the same reservation.
