Introducing Southwest® airport lounges

Beginning in late 2027, Southwest airport lounges are coming to select airports, creating new spaces where travelers can recharge, reconnect, and relax before their flight.

In partnership with Chase, we're introducing our first-ever airport lounge network, designed to extend Southwest Hospitality into every step of your journey.

This is just the beginning, with at least seven more lounges planned to open over the next several years.

The first Southwest airport lounges are expected to begin opening in late 2027.

The initial locations will be:

  • Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)
  • Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL)
  • Nashville International Airport (BNA)

A new, premium Southwest Rapid Rewards® Credit Card issued by Chase will be launching in 2027 and will provide access to the new Southwest lounge network.

We're still putting the finishing touches on the experience, but travelers can expect welcoming spaces to relax, work, recharge, and enjoy food and beverages inspired by each city.
