Renting a car in Orlando will help you get around to various destinations, especially since public transit is limited. If you do, there’s no better place to escape the desert heat than to soak in the rays at the beach! Cocoa Beach is the closest beach to Orlando that you can visit to get your tan on. Soak in gorgeous views, play water sports, and take advantage of any events at the pier. The shopper in you will also enjoy the great boutiques near the water. Of course, if going to the beach isn’t your thing, you might enjoy taking advantage of the great water parks!
