If you travel during the warmer months, one destination you won’t want to miss out on is Red Rocks Park. There, you can take a gorgeous hike, bike, go to a concert, dine, and admire the red-colored sandstone rocks overlooking the city. Nearby, you can visit the Buffalo Bill Memorial Museum. Per Buffalo Bill’s request, he was buried overlooking the Great Plains and the Rockies, making this a one-of-a-kind place to explore while you’re in the area. Get your steps in and see how mountain-meets-city at this popular attraction.
Of course, no trip to Denver is complete without visiting some of the city’s best restaurants and getting a feel for what Denver culture is like outside of mountain living. After you’ve smelled the Ponderosa Pines (yes, they really smell like sugar cookies), you’ll want to take some time to explore downtown Denver’s oldest neighborhood, also known as LoDo. There, you can visit Larimer Square and walk up and down decorated streets with several options to eat at some of Denver’s hottest restaurants. Close to Larimer Square, you’ll find 16th Street Mall, a mile-long promenade with plenty of shops and outdoor cafes to explore. You won’t have a dull moment traveling or eating your way through downtown Denver and getting a feel for what locals and tourists alike enjoy about the Mile High City.

If using the app or mobile web, you must list your name 30 minutes ahead of scheduled departure. You will receive a message based on the contact preference selected during booking if you are cleared on the flight. Group bookings and Unaccompanied Minors are not eligible for same-day standby. You will be required to pay any government taxes and fees associated with these itinerary changes but refunds will be provided. Your original boarding position is not guaranteed on your standby flight.
