Southwest® flights from Houston Hobby to Orlando from $79

Get excited about exploring Orlando both inside and outside of the theme parks! While there are several fantastic, world-class theme parks to enjoy, there’s no doubt that the full Orlando experience lies outside of the parks as well. During your trip, take some time to explore international cuisine in downtown Orlando, visit local towns in the area, and even plan a trip to the beach! There’s no shortage of fun when you travel to the Sunshine State.

Perhaps one of the best places to start exploring your way through Orlando is to visit the downtown area. There, you’ll get a feel for what the locals do. Walk down historic blocks such as Church Street and visit the Railroad Depot, a commercial development and entertainment site. Grab lunch at some of the city’s most popular joints as well. Sit down to enjoy a meal overlooking Lake Eola and experience Orlando’s rich outdoor and wildlife environment. If you happen to pay a visit downtown in the evening, make sure to explore the great nightlife Orlando has to offer.
