When you deplane at Bradley International Airport, you’re exactly in between Hartford, Connecticut, and Springfield, Massachusetts, in the greater Hartford-Springfield region. Whether you rent a car to head to Springfield or hop on the express bus to downtown Hartford, your adventure awaits.
If you choose to spend your visit primarily in Springfield—the City of Firsts—explore the Springfield Science Museum, home to the first planetarium in the United States. You can also explore the museum’s aquarium and check out its life-size Tyrannosaurus Rex. If you’re more interested in arts and culture, explore the rest of the Quadrangle—what locals call the Metro Center neighborhood’s cluster of museums.
