Start your visit by exploring Pittsburgh’s finest museums, one of the most famous being the Andy Warhol Museum. From iconic pop-art prints of silver screen stars and household staples, this space is considered one of the world’s most comprehensive single-artist museums. Next, explore the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. This family-friendly museum offers visitors an opportunity to learn more about the effects of humans on the ecosystem, extensive dinosaur bone exhibits, and more. After your journey through the past, you’ll want to make time to breathe in the refreshing mountain breeze. Visit the Duquesne Incline to get a breathtaking view of the city. This is one of the last remaining cable car inclines in the country, allowing you to take a step back in time for a view of modern Pittsburgh. While you’re in the area, explore Mount Washington, one of the city’s most popular neighborhoods. Pull yourself away from the spectacular view to eat at some of Pittsburgh’s finest restaurants on Restaurant Row. Not far from this area, you can also visit Emerald View Park, a 10-mile trail system surrounding other historic parks. Pack a picnic and admire the greenery.
