Southwest Airlines offers two types of charters, Single Entity Private and Public.
A Public Charter is a charter that is paid for by the individual passengers. Public Charters must meet guidelines of the Department of Transportation. These guidelines can be found here: Department of Transportation Guidelines.

Snacks are always on us when onboard our charter flights, as well as an assorted list of non-alcoholic beverages. Need a little more? We’ve got you covered with a fully-stocked bar, cold sandwiches, salads, and other cold food items for an additional cost.
Charters are normally more expensive than scheduled service due to the ability to customize the origin, destination*, schedule, and aircraft size. Charters are priced per aircraft and cost varies on scheduling needs, the amount of flying required, aircraft availability, and distance. Please be aware that Customers are required to pay the cost for returning the aircraft to its origin after the charter flight is complete.

Charter payment must be received prior to departure by wire transfer, credit card, or check. At this time, our frequent flyer program, Rapid Rewards® are not available to earn or redeem on charter flights.
