Without question, your first stop in Sin City should be something representative of the city’s bright lights, party spirit, and old-school charm: the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. Measuring 25-feet tall, this iconic sign has been a Vegas landmark since 1959. Want to learn more about the city’s relationship with neon? Pay a visit to the Neon Museum, home to over 200 restored and unrestored neon signs across two acres of land, including an outdoor space called the Neon Boneyard.
For another view of the Las Vegas Strip’s neon lights, ride to the top of the High Roller, a 550-foot tall Ferris wheel with glass-enclosed cabins. Don’t miss a stroll on the Strip at ground level, either, for great food, shopping, and other attractions.
